Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.

ACU has a number of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy.

In accordance with the requirements of this funding arrangement, the Australian Catholic University (ACU) is inviting providers to submit a quotation for accommodation to meet the needs of students attending the Yalbalinga (Place of Learning) Indigenous Higher Education Unit at ACU’s Strathfield Campus.

The Strathfield (Mount Saint Mary) Campus is located at 25a Barker Road, Strathfield NSW.

ACU’s preference is for a single provider to meet the accommodation requirements of this program in 2025 for its Strathfield Campus. However, different providers for each of the three (3) Residential periods may be considered.

In addition to one earlier in the year outside of the scope of this tender, three (3) residential periods are planned for 2025. These are:

• 02 May – 08 May inclusive – 6 nights
• 25 July – 31 July inclusive – 6 nights.
• 12 September – 18 September inclusive – 6 nights.

Each residential period will be for approximately 45 students. In some cases, exact student numbers cannot be finalised until just prior to the planned dates.

The approximate total student nights’ accommodation required for 2025 is 810. Actual total student nights will depend on attendance and cannot be known until the finalisation of each Residential.
