Three types of batteries from different OEMs are available to choose from with battery inverter ratings ranging from 4.95MW to 4.99MW and storage durations of 2, 2.5 and 4 hours
Ausgrid's proposed delivery model is to Build-Own-Maintain (BOM) the Community Batteries. Under this arrangement we will be accountable for project development and financing, design, and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the Community Batteries. Ausgrid is accountable for assurance activities and will ensure operations and maintenance (O&M) is conducted to safety, regulatory and technical requirements.
Successful parties in this RFQ will be invited to Bilateral Negotiations.
