Tender Description
This procurement supports the Australian Government's goals of economic growth, international collaboration and job creation, whilst contributing collaboratively to a best practices model for STEM outreach in the region and establishing ongoing promotional avenues to boost awareness of Kibo-ABC initiatives and space education/career opportunities. The designated provider will receive funding and Agency support on the condition that they fulfil the Kibo-ABC Terms of Reference by successfully delivering and reporting on current and future Australian Kibo-ABC initiatives.
Approved Initiatives - The following program descriptions have been taken from the website of the Kibo Utilisation Office for Asia (KUOA), the secretariat of Kibo-ABC.

Conditions for Participation:
1. The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in its tender must not be insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership as at the Closing Time.
2. The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as non-compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth) by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as at the Closing Time.
3. The Tenderer and any subcontractor proposed in the tender must obtain and maintain the following requirements:
(i) police clearance,
(ii) working with children check, and/or
(iii) working with vulnerable people registration.
4.The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must have demonstrable experience in the delivery of space education programs in Australia.
Timeframe for Delivery:
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is 12 months. Funds will administered via invoice and drawndown for approved Kibo-ABC programs. There will be up to two extension opportunities (12 months duration each). The Agency retains the ability to extend the contract for FY2025-26 and FY2026-27 on a program by program basis.
