Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The NDISQSC website currently uses a CMS called Drupal, a traditional CMS designed to manage data and content. This is the means of updating data and content across the Commission’s platforms. The Channels team have recently migrated from Drupal 9 to 10.

The current websites do not meet the functional, technical or information management needs because they have not been well maintained over time. There are also system limitations, Drupal makes supported, single source of truth content difficult, if not impossible to achieve.

NDIS Commission is seeking details on possible solutions to narrow the field for a future RFQ. This RFI will assist the Commission in refining its requirements and better understand what is currently available in the market. Due to legislation and cyber, there are essential criteria that must be met by the proposed solutions. Suppliers who can meet the essential criteria will then be invited to provide quotes.

The users and their needs

The new CMS will be used by internal stakeholders to display content across our digital channels, which will be consumed by providers, workers and participants of the NDIS, as well as other stakeholders.

Internal users require a platform that allows for increased flexibility and control and can be integrated across Channels.

End users may have accessibility needs that are limited under the current Drupal setup

A CMS business case has also been established.

Technical/business constraints
