Shire of Northam are seeking suitable contractors/s for the Bert Hawke Lighting Project. The project scope is to undertake complete construction for new LED Sports Floodlighting at Cricket Main and Soccer playing areas in addition to Cricket nets at Bert Hawke Oval. The electrical scope of the current project shall be undertaken to install and connect the new soccer LED lighting to power supply source.

The Shire requires to segregate lighting upgrade project into portions as detailed below:

Portion 1 (P1) – Cricket Main and Soccer Playing Areas

1. New LED lighting, electrical and control system

2. Removal of existing lights, light poles and electrical assets

Portion 2 (P2) – Cricket Nets

1. New LED lighting, electrical and control system

2. Removal of existing lights, light poles and electrical assets

The proposed new lighting assets shall include the new LED flood lights installed on new light poles to achieve the desired lux levels as per AS2560.2:2021 for respective total playing area.

There will be a mandatory site meeting at Bert Hawke Oval on Wednesday 19th February at 10am. Submissions received from anyone who does not attend the meeting will be rejected as non-compliant.
