New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) requests proposals for the supply of Time of Use and Non-TOU electricity to a range of sites throughout the New Plymouth district.

The key objective of this RFP is to seek the most cost competitive Fixed Price Variable Volume (FPVV) electricity supply agreement for the nominated NPDC ICP's.

NPDC are very interested in reducing their Scope 2 carbon emissions and are actively looking at installing photo-voltaic (PV) generation on their extensive roof spaces. Although this project is in the early scoping stages, it is prudent to advise the new electricity retailer. The scale of the potential system has not yet been determined.

In addition to simply being open and transparent about this intent, NPDC requires rates quoted for the buy-back of exported electricity and any terms and conditions that may apply.
