Tender Description
Walgett Shire Council proposes to demolish existing courts and construct a new multi-sport complex at 115-117 Fox Street Walgett.
Walgett Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced sports field construction companies for the provision of the works as outlined in this scope of works and in accordance with the design documentation prepared by SportEng.
All components of the project are to be completed in accordance with the design documentation supplied with the tender documents, statutory regulations and applicable guidelines. Contractors shall allow for all materials, plant, equipment, tools, cartage, labour, accommodation, freight, and supervision required to carry out the works. No variations will be considered for items that are clearly required and not excluded by the contractor within their tender submission.
Compliance with timeframes will be a key selection criterion, along with capability, relevant experience and project understanding.
The key components of the proposed new Multi-sport Complex include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Disconnection and re-connection of all service and infrastructure connections to the area, as required.
• Construction of a new fit-for-purpose multi-sport complex, including new field of play areas, lighting and fencing/gates.
• All relevant earthworks
