The Snowy Monaro Regional Council (SMRC) has successfully secured and allocated funding to undertake a specific and limited scope of work to upgrade Bombala Showground Sporting Facilities. This works associated with this funding are required to completed by 30 April 2025.
The purpose of this project is to increase spectators viewing areas for visitors and community members to attend sporting and community events with accessible pathways linking existing amenities buildings as per NCC and DDA compliant standards.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council (SMRC) is seeking to engage an experienced Principal Contractor for the provision of Bombala Sporting Infrastructure – Stage 1. The Scope of Works are detailed in the Concept Drawing (refer attached) and includes design and construction of the following;
- DDA compliant pathway
- Accessible carpark
- Internal gravel road
- Concrete slabs for external seating
- Supply and Install external seating
- Soft landscape
- Provisional Sum for a New Netball Court
