Casey City Council is seeking a contractor for the construction of a 2-meter-wide concrete footpath along Craig Road, Junction Village, as part of contract CT000959. The project involves approximately 640 meters of concrete paths, concrete kerb and channel, and other associated works as detailed in civil design plans R6198.
The scope of works includes traffic management, locating services within the road reserve, setting out the works, clearing and grubbing, saw-cutting and removing pavement, kerbing, and footpath, and disposing of redundant roadside furniture. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for supplying and installing concrete paths, kerb and channel, mesh fencing, and other civil works, as well as reinstating road pavement and nature strip, topsoiling, and seeding disturbed areas, and providing as-built plans for the civil works.
Tenderers must submit a Gantt Chart with their tender response, detailing all activities required to complete the contract works within the stipulated period. This should include proposed start and completion dates, public holidays or shutdown periods, and all works necessary to complete the project.
