ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Gilgandra Shire Council (GSC) is proceeding with the development of a new aged care residential staff accommodation project within the township of Gilgandra.

Quotations are sought from suitably experienced and qualified design consultants to prepare full working contract and specification documents for this development, including documents ready for submission to Council for DA/CC approval.

The proposed development at 68 Myrtle Street is on a 'brownfield' site that has been vacant for a number of years. The existing dwelling and associated out buildings and selected vegetation will be removed.

ABOUT THE QUOTATION: The scope of works for this new aged care residential staff accommodation project at 68 Myrtle Street includes the planning, design, development and commissioning of 5-6 self-contained units (a combination of one and two bedroom units), a common use space and outdoor courtyard area, tenant and visitor car parking, landscaping and pathways; rainwater tanks/water and energy efficiency initiatives and perimeter fencing. Units to have individual enclosed yard with clothesline. Accommodation is for longer term tenancy and/or permanent stay users.
