The Hills Shire Council is currently seeking appropriately qualified and experienced respondents for the provision of services outlined in the specifications.

The Environmental Heritage Study will include a comprehensive review of all current local environmental heritage items to determine whether they continue to meet the test of the current NSW Heritage Criteria for listing. This review will culminate in the preparation of an Environmental Heritage Study report which details the history and heritage significance of each heritage item. Following review of the items, the Heritage Consultant will need to provide updates to all heritage inventory sheets to reflect the outcomes of the Environmental Heritage Study.

The study will also include recommendations for the extent of heritage mapping for existing items in The Hills Local Environmental Plan and any necessary updates to Council’s Heritage Development Control Plan.
