The Waikato Regional Council (the Council) contracts pest animal control operations through its Priority Possum Control and HALO programs.

The Council is wanting to hear from contractors who are interested in the opportunity to undertake performance-based pest control for the following four Priority Possum Control Areas (PPCA) areas:

• Arohena 1

• Waotu

• North Taupo

• Waikite Valley Farmland Sector 2B

By successfully completing pest animal control contracts for the council, contractors will be making a contribution to the protection and enhancement of biodiversity, catchment integrity and production values within the region.
