Works under this contract comprises the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Edward Street distribution pipeline. The construction works will include installation of:

• Distribution pipework including relevant valves and hydrants; and,

• Suspended pipework including support works through existing service duct across Dr Hollingworth Bridge.

The existing 450mm distribution main, that crosses the Mehi River along the riverbed, has recently failed on two (2) occasions, triggering Moree Plains Shire Council to prioritise its replacement. This project will deliver the infrastructure required to ensure that water supply is maintained in Moree and minimises ongoing water loss into the Mehi River.

A pre-tender submission meeting has been nominated for Thursday 27 February 2025, 11am AEDT, at Moree Plains Council Administration Office, Level 2, Max Centre, 30 Herber Street Moree NSW 2400.
