Construction of a new water trunk main, sewer gravity trunk main, and sewer rising main to service Stage 1 of the Valla Urban Growth Area subdivision.

Project goals

To provide sewer and water enabling infrastructure to the Vala Urban Growth Area development.

Scope

A WM comprising:

• DN355 HDPE pipeline extending from the VUGA and terminating east of the intersection of Giinagay Way and Old Coast Way.

• Water main valve pit for pressure reducing valve.

• Water main valve pit for flowmeter.

• DN100 HDPE pipeline extending from the water trunk main to the water filling station on “old” Boggy Creek Road.

• Water filling station with concrete splash pad and stormwater drainage to table drain.

A GSM comprising:

• DN450 HDPE incoming gravity sewer main from the VUGA across the Pacific Highway to the VUGA SPS.

A SRM comprising:

• DN450 HDPE pipeline extending from the VUGA and discharging into an existing manhole and DN525 PVC gravity pipe located at the intersection of Cottage Road and Cpt Trail 311/2 Trail.

• SRM pit for flowmeter.
