This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Health and Aged Care (Department) are seeking a MuleSoft Developer with the functional and technical expertise to develop technical design specifications for MuleSoft software and database solutions.
The MuleSoft Developer tasks will include the following:
- Assisting in Product planning processes,
- Developing applications to agreed standards, including test designs, user and system documentation,
- System integration development for internal and external interface using various transport protocol including web services,
- Development and review of technical designs and solution architecture of the new projects,
- Development and updating of detailed design documentation as required,
- Build technical solutions with a focus on user needs,
- Monitor and review build output to provide guidance and ensure development, implementation, and review activities are completed as designed and according to standards,
- Act on any identified process improvements that will assist in an improved and more responsive delivery outcome,
- Assist with technical issues,
- Maintaining effective relationships with clients, key stakeholders and other teams in the Branch as required,
- Contribute towards knowledge transfer of skills and mentor staff as appropriate.
- Ability to work in a high paced and agile environment, delivering value with our colleagues, using DevOps practices,
- Compliance with departmental and Service Delivery procedures and processes
- Undertaking impact analysis of proposed application changes and problems; and
- Any other tasks, as directed by the buyer.

Working arrangements: Hybrid
The services will be performed by the Specified Personnel from the nearest State office. Minimum 2-3 full days per week in the office (or as applicable to your specific work order). Remote/flexible work arrangements can be discussed with the Specified Personnel’s manager upon commencement, and a Working from Home Agreement must be formalised by the buyer and seller.
