The Shire of Augusta Margaret River (the Principal) is seeking Quotes from suitably qualified contractors to design and reconstruct a portion of the Augusta Foreshore Wall.

The site is located opposite the northern end of Yiradjinda Turner Holiday Park within Reserve 41117 and sits within a recognised Aboriginal Heritage Site. All necessary permits are in place. The current foreshore retaining walls are made from coffee rock, which supports the lawned area directly adjacent to the wall. The wall is being undermined by the river, large pot holes are being created in the lawn area and the wall failing in sections.

The Principal has a budget of $153,600 to complete the works. The Contractor will be required to advise what length of wall they will be able to reconstruct for the budget.

The site works are required to reach completion by 30 June 2025.
