The project must address the survey objectives. The main objective of the survey is to deliver insights on NSW households’ current levels of preparedness for disasters.

Project goals
Key outcomes of this project are:
- Survey Questionnaire: Create and test a survey with stakeholders, designed to provide actionable insights into NSW households’ preparedness for natural disasters.
- Survey Administration: Develop, host, and administer the survey, ensuring accessibility for diverse respondents, including CALD, First Nations, and those with disabilities or health conditions.
- Sampling Plan: Develop a robust sampling plan to analyze data by various factors, recognizing differing household capacities for disaster preparedness.
- LGA Sampling: Achieve a robust sample in each NSW LGA, with potential scope reduction in some areas to manage budget.
- Fieldwork Completion: Complete all fieldwork by 25 June 2025, managing all aspects effectively and efficiently.
- Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly reports on survey participation, including demographic breakdowns.
- Data Files: Deliver accurate, complete, and cleaned case data files in Power BI (.pbix), with identifying information removed.
- Data Tables: Provide accurate data tables of question results and breakdowns by agreed characteristics.
- Findings Report: Deliver a comprehensive findings report, allowing for two rounds of written feedback.
- Slide Deck: Create and present a slide deck of key insights.
- Optional Reporting: Deliver additional optional reporting as detailed.
