As part of the Lower Brown Hill Creek Upgrades, the Board is upgrading the Birdwood Terrace culvert and, in conjunction with its appointed construction contractor and with input from APA Gas and the Office of the Technical Regulator, has developed a temporary design and methodology to support the gas transmission line while removing the existing structure underneath the pipe, and installing new culverts.

Given the important nature of the gas infrastructure and subject to the availability of APA Gas Site Watch, the Board may wish to engage a contractor with demonstrated experience in site surveillance for similar projects.
