The Information Services Division (ISD) is seeking to establish a professional services agreement with one or more suppliers for the supply of senior network architectural and engineering support resources to augment the Network Operations team in the delivery of key strategic in-flight project initiatives.

The services will be outcome focused, based upon agreed set of deliverables and will be drawn down on as needs basis subject to the business and project demands placed on the DPS Network Operations team.

The services are anticipated to be required in all areas of network engineering and network architecture with a specific focus on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network gateway related capability and delivery experience, including the migration of environments and business operations from a traditional perimeter security model to a zero-trust network access model.

The services required will typically include:

1. Network Architectural capability to act as the primary network architect subject matter expert for ZTNA related and other strategic project delivery activities, including but not limited to the following;

• Technical expertise, advice and guidance related to ZTNA design, migration planning and implementation in Federal government agencies
• Technical expertise, advice and guidance related to network gateway design, consolidation and decommissioning
• Act as lead network architectural resource supporting daily project planning, decision making and delivery
• Technical workshop planning and facilitation
• Leading all network related change activity and testing
• Leading design documentation development and approval
• Senior executive engagement / business stakeholder management

2. Lead/Senior Network Engineering capability to act as the primary technical SME for ZTNA related and other strategic project delivery activities, including but not limited to the following;

• Network discovery activity
• Planning, drafting, and management of technical change requests to support the delivery of approved ZTNA designs
• Business stakeholder engagement and outage planning
• Network change implementation and testing
• Network gateway consolidation and decommissioning
• Technical documentation

3. Lead/Senior Zscaler Engineer to act as the primary technical resource for all Zscaler related activity required to establish a Zero Trust Exchange and support the move to a ZTNA model, including but not limited to the following;

• Discovery activity
• Planning, drafting, and management of technical change requests to support the delivery of approved ZTNA designs
• Business stakeholder engagement and outage planning
• Zscaler change implementation and testing
• Technical documentation
