The University of Adelaide, established in 1874, has over 25,000 students and 3,500 staff and researchers. The University has a strong reputation internationally as a leading research and teaching institution.

The University of Adelaide (UoA) wishes to engage a Principal Consultant (Architect) and Sub-consultancy team, to develop a costed Concept Plan and 3D vision imagery, for new Sporting Clubrooms at the Waite campus oval. The deliverables will be used to support feasibility discussions and grant applications.

The objective of this project is to promote sport and recreation growth and to address barriers to participation and inclusivity in sports. The facility is to be designed to be universally accessible- a critical step in promoting and supporting equality of opportunity for current and future users of the facility, regardless of age, gender or ability.

The design scope includes a new multipurpose single storey clubroom facility (973m2 indicatively) incorporating changerooms, community spaces, a cafe and gym, associated carparking, and relocated cricket turf wickets.
