Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to construct a gravel shared path in Mansfield-Whitfield Road, Mansfield.

A 2.5m wide gravel shared path is planned for the eastern side of Mansfield-Whitfield Road. It will run from Maple Tree Boulevard to Mansfield-Whitfield Road, with connections to existing footpaths on Mansfield-Whitfield Road and at both ends of Maple Tree Boulevard.

The majority of the route does not currently have an existing pathway and will require new construction. An existing section of concrete footpath on Maple Tree Boulevard will be extended and incorporated into the new path.

Scope of works:

Works include the construction of a length of 2.5m wide gravel shared path and 1.5m wide concrete footpath extension including additions such as:

- Site preparation and traffic management.

- Supply, stock handling and install/laying the required material.

- Disposal of any additional unrequired materials.

- Residential concrete footpath extension referring to IDM SD205 and SD210.
