The Victoria Daly Regional Council (VDRC) wishes to advise that a notice to Public Quotation has been issued for the design and development of a new Victoria Daly Regional Council website.

The Council seeks to design and develop a new website that enhances user experience, improves accessibility, and ensures compliance with legislative requirements. The new website will serve as a key platform for community engagement, service delivery, and information dissemination.

The objectives of this engagement will be to:

• Deliver an intuitive and welcoming user experience across all devices that will make it simple for VDRC’s diverse user groups to easily find information on services, governance, community events and other essential resources.

• Development of a robust website Content Management System (CMS) that enables seamless content entry and editing while ensuring efficient document management.

The CMS must provide an intuitive, user-friendly interface for staff, allowing for well-organised filing, easy retrieval of resources, and streamlined access to council documents and services.

• Integrate key council services, including online forms, a secure gateway for payments, and calendar for all of the Council’s key events, meetings and activities.

• Inclusion of advanced search functionality that enables users to quickly locate information through intuitive filtering and keyword search. The system must also support seamless integration with third-party plugins to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and ensure adaptability to future technological needs.
