Tender Description
The ATM seeks multiple Service Providers able to provide Level 2 Emergency Towage Capability (ETC2) Services to meet AMSA’s requirements.
AMSA is seeking Service Providers who can provide ETC2 services capable of providing First Strike Capabilities, including:
1.preserving life;
2.holding a vessel clear of imminent danger;
3.towing a vessel out of immediate danger;
4.towing or escorting a casualty to a place of refuge (as opposed to a place of repair);
5.fighting fire;
6.stabilizing a casualty to prevent further damage to the ship or the environment;
7.protecting the marine environment from pollution; and
8.providing related services as directed by AMSA.
Other Instructions:
A single, non mandatory, Industry Briefing will be offered to all potential Tenderers during March. Date to be advised.
Conditions for Participation:
The Tenderer must hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) or an Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN).
The Tenderer must have business management systems certified (by an independent certifying organisation) as compliant with:
(i) AS/NZS ISO 9001
(ii) AS/NZS 4801 or ISO 45001
(iii) AS/NZS ISO 14001
A tenderer and each of its subcontractors must not be bankrupt, insolvent or subject to external administration or have been in the last 3 years.
Timeframe for Delivery: A deed of standing offer will be executed with each successful Service Provider. The initial term of the deed will be from execution until the expiry of the panel on 30 June 2030.
