Tender Description

Background and General Information

Council invites suitably experienced and qualified Contractors to submit a lump sum price (per week) and supporting documentation for the provision of Cleaning Services across a range of Kingaroy Buildings / Facilities.

Council requires Contractor/s that can provide regular, programmed cleaning services to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of Council’s Kingaroy Buildings / Facilities. Facilities to be cleaned vary from Depots, Offices, Administration buildings and public toilets. The contract is for an initial 1-year period with possible extension options of 2 years and 2nd extension option of 2 years.

This quotation has three (3) separable portions you may submit for any or all three (3).

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Cleaning Duties (THE FOLLOWING MUST BE UNDERTAKEN AS MARKED IN THE TABLE FOR EACH LOCATION)

 Wash, scrub and disinfect all toilet, showers and waiting room floors

 Wash, scrub and disinfect lavatory pans and cisterns, urinals and hand basins.

 Wash, scrub and disinfect walls and all fittings; clean and polish all bright metal on doors and fittings

 Thoroughly clean all mirrors, taps, hand basins & surrounding surfaces

 Empty, wash clean and disinfect all receptacles for used hand towels, refuse, etc. Replace liners where required

 Replace/Dispose of sharps containers as required

 Dust all ledges, sills and non-mechanical equipment

 Replace toilet paper as required, ensuring adequate provision for daily use

 Sweep the concrete path outside waiting areas including footpaths

 Empty bins and pick up all papers and rubbish

 Clean and wash all fittings such as seats, etc.

 Clean glass entrance doors

 Vacuum under all desks and chairs

 Sweep and wash floors and move any furniture required

 Wipe over furniture

 Wipe clean all tables and chairs

 Damp dust all counters and remove any marks

 Ceilings, walls, light fittings and behind doors to be kept cobweb free

 Ensure loose rubbish and debris is collected and removed within the immediate area of the facility

 Refill soap and paper towel dispensers

 Check and clear minor blockages 

OTHER

 Report vandalism to the Facilities Management Officer

 Dangerous items should be reported to Facilities Management Officer (i.e.: Broken Furniture)

 Complete a service log per clean

 Attend a mandatory quarterly performance of service meeting at Council’s chosen location.
