Introduction

The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender for the re-platforming of SharePoint portals and associated services in accordance with this request.

Background

The City has developed three SharePoint portals to collaborate and manage operational activities with external suppliers providing services under the leisure services, trees, and parks contracts. These portals were built on Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and are currently hosted on Windows Server 2012. Microsoft support for SharePoint 2010 ended in April 2021. The City has decided to re-platform and transition all three portals to Microsoft SharePoint Online.

Project Overview

The portals ("Partner Portals") provide the City Greening and Leisure business unit with a digital platform to manage contract-related operations, request and track essential services, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Suppliers can securely access the external facing portal to make a request, respond to an issue or query, and submit data for their periodic performance reports.

The portals built for different sections in the City Greening and Leisure business unit are listed below:

1. Parks Contractor Portal (PCP): The Parks Assets and Services section uses this portal to manage its contracts operationally.

2. Trees Contractor Portal (TCP): The Urban Forest section uses this portal to manage its contracts operationally.

3. Aquatics and Leisure Services Portal (ALS): This is not actively used by the Leisure Services section as the portal has issues with the workflows and lacks functionalities available in TCP and PCP.
