Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) has identified the requirement to sustain their Common Operating Picture (COP) system.

This includes the following Information and Communication Technology (ICT) components:

1. The Common Operation Picture system - a unified and real-time representation of relevant information, data, and situational awareness shared among different stakeholders or decision-makers involved in a specific operation or activity. It provides a comprehensive and up-to-date view of the operational environment, allowing all participants to have a common understanding of situations.

2. Team Awareness Kit Servers - a geospatial software application that provides real-time situational awareness, navigation, data sharing, geofencing, and communication for expeditioners. It offers vital inputs to the Common Operating Picture (COP).

3. Mobile Device Management Servers - these provide the back end for operational control of the variety of communications systems utilised by expeditioners.

These ICT components are crucial for ensuring effective communication, coordination, and operational success within the division. Their integration ensures more effective and coordinated missions, enabling all stakeholders to have a unified understanding of the operational environment and respond promptly to any developments. Appropriate maintenance and support of these components are critical for sustaining the COP system’s functionality and reliability.
