Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of tree maintenance works within the road reserve or on public land throughout the local government area and as directed by City of Newcastle. Tree maintenance work includes tree pruning, tree removal, stump/root grinding, root investigation and root barrier installation.

The envisaged contract period will be 3 years commencing 1 July 2025 with an additional 1-yr option to extend subject to service provider performance and operational needs. Pursuant to the tender outcome, Council may accept several submissions and engage multiple service providers to provision services on an as required and/or programmed basis in line with operational requirements.
