The Western Australian Public Sector is enhancing its digital recruitment to support sector-wide improvements in recruitment, talent attraction, and performance measurement. As part of this, the Public Sector Commission (the Commission) is in the process of carrying out the procurement and implementation of a new solution to replace the existing WA Government Jobs Board, which also, at present, provisions candidate management functionality.
This new WA Jobs Board project seeks to decentralise those candidate management services, encouraging agencies to independently manage their candidate management requirements ahead of the new WA Jobs Board go-live by July-2026.
As a result, agencies that do not currently manage their candidate management requirements or are seeking an opportunity to improve their candidate management processes, may investigate options for procuring candidate management solutions, supported by the information surfaced by this RFI process.
The Commission is conducting a market sounding exercise through issuing this RFI. This RFI aims to gather information to help agencies establish candidate management capabilities that meet regulatory and information security compliance requirements, and data quality and integration considerations.
