Tender Description

The Services are defined in Attachment A -Scope of Work and requirements for completion of groundwater investigations to inform and support work for the Pilbara Green Link (PGL) project. The pricing is based on fixed priced per deliverable in the Scope of Work.

The purpose of the Scope of Work document is to outline the requirements for the drilling of nine (9) monitoring bores to provide hydrogeological information to support the design and execution planning of the transmission line, substation, and construction camp assets during the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase. This information will enable the ECI contractor to provide a Class 3 capital cost estimate in accordance with AACE Guidelines.

The extent of groundwater investigations outlined in the Scope of Work document is aimed to provide sufficient information on groundwater availability, quality, and quantity along the proposed route to inform definition phase engineering and construction planning.

During project execution groundwater will be sourced to supply the Project for the following purposes:

  • Camp supply
  • Concrete batching
  • Dust suppression
  • Drilling

The Contractor is required to install nine (9) oversized (OS) monitoring bores along the proposed transmission line alignment. Bores will be located at approximately 20km intervals for dust suppression with additional locations for the proposed concrete batching plant and camp locations during Project construction.

All Services must be undertaken in accordance with the Pilbara Green Link HSE Management Plan; the aspects most relevant to this Scope of Work are presented in Section 3.2 of the Scope of Work document.
