Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
ASIC requires Lab 3 to upgrade Bedrock automation tool for Azure.
Planning and Preparation
To ensure readiness for the upgrade, we will undertake the following:
1. Validate the current state of the Azure Bedrock environment, including:
- Check current Bedrock versions.
- Confirm Azure DevOps extensions installed.
- Verify the state of pipelines within the Platform-Resources project.
- Check for unsupported code changes made against Bedrock repositories.
- Review and determine changes to any custom code. At this time, we do not expect any custom changes to be required, or if needed, effort would be minimal (likely less than 1 day).
2. Validate access for Azure AD, Azure Resource Manager, and Azure DevOps.
4. Validate tools required for the upgrade.
5. Prepare for the upgrade, including Application Workspaces.
6. Create and communicate the Change Implementation Plan (CIP).
7. Provide technical details required for CIP documentation.
Upgrade Execution
Once the prerequisites are met, the following steps will be undertaken:
- Confirm Upgrade Change to proceed as per CIP.
- Perform the upgrade of Bedrock to version 3.6.
- Conduct technical verification and a hypercare support period post-upgrade.
- Update the completion milestone (M1) to confirm successful execution.
