Dalyellup Estate - Bore Supply Pipeline Re-Routing
Tender ID: 580621
Tender Details
Tender Description
The irrigation system networked throughout the Dalyellup estate is supplied from three (3) storage lakes north, centre and front (roundabout). Currently, the north lake is filled from ten (10)superficial aquifer abstraction wells located through central Dalyellup. Two abstraction wells to the north of Norton Promenade (PB8 and PB10) discharge into a common DN100 PVC pipeline that vents into the south end of North Lake. The remaining eight (8) abstraction wells (PB13, PB15, PB16, PB17, PB18, PB19, PB20 and PB21), surrounding Centre Lake, discharge into a second common DN100 PVC pipeline that also vents into the south end of North Lake.
To mitigate the development of iron deposits throughout each of the pipelines and permit more effective management of the existing abstraction well pumps, each of the two common pipelines are proposed to be segregated, thus reducing the flow through each pipeline and the extent and frequency of pipeline fouling.
Three new pipelines are proposed to be installed, two applicable to the south bore supply pipeline and one applicable to the north bore supply pipeline. Pipeline #1 shall separate the supply from PB16 and PB17 (Maidment Parade south) and discharge into the north end of Centre Lake. Pipeline #2 shall separate the supply from PB20 and PB21 (Guttman Parkway north) and discharge into the south end of North Lake. Finally, pipeline #3 shall be re-routed to traverse beneath the Norton Promenade bridge and discharge into the north end of North Lake.
