The objective of this procurement is to engage accredited bus operators to assist classes of students with disability and Transition Program staff to attend industry immersions as part of their transition into employment after school. Depending on class sizes there will be between 12 and 14 passengers each trip.

On average for each class the ad hoc bus transport requirements occur once a fortnight. The Transition Program operates 4 classes in Elizabeth, 3 in Adelaide CBD, 4 in Noarlunga Centre, and 1 on the Fleurieu Peninsula (currently Victor Harbor).

Due to the large geographical spread of sites, this procurement will have the right to award the contract to one or multiple suppliers depending on which suppliers tender for what geographical areas.
