THL is an independent Community Housing Provider set up by TROTAK (Te Runanga o Turanganui-A-Kiwa), as a collective response to the housing crisis and its impact on the three iwi of Turanganui-A-Kiwa.

This RFT is seeking tenders for a Design and Build contract to provide nineteen (19no.) new transportable modular timber framed residential dwellings, prefabricated offsite, from contractors who have the capability and capacity to deliver the scope of works in this RFT.

The Scope of Works is as follows:

Provision of design documentation encompassing the principals requirements to achieve building consent and construction,

Construction of 19no. code compliant (NZBC) residential housing units in a suitable offsite facility, transported and delivered to their relative sites and situated on their foundations (pile foundations by others),

Completion and handover including provision of all relevant handover documentation.
