The University of Waikato is looking to engage with a Licensed Immigration Agent (LIA) consultancy company to provide student visa renewal consultancy advice to international students enrolled at the University. The University is limiting the provision of the LIA consultancy service to current University of Waikato international students wishing to renew their student visa.

The University is envisaging that the successful provider will present the University with a service delivery model that will provide international students with an excellent LIA consultancy service, and at an economically competitively cost to the University. The successful provider will be able to service the Hamilton area.

The University is envisaging that the successful provider will also provide the University with a service delivery model that addresses any conflicts of interest that could arise from the provider supplying students with student visa renewal advice in the first instance and then at a later date being approached to provide additional visa advice (e.g. a work visa or a residence visa etc).
