Coral Sseeding device technology has evolved over the last decade. Using seeding devices as an intervention method provides critical operational and process benefits compared to larval cloud releases in that the coral spat can be deployed directly in a traget location. This allows for better monitoring and more control of the community composition of restored corals.
There are currently two versions of the coral seeding device that will be depolyed on the Great Barrier Reef in significant numbers in late 2025. This tender seeks a manufacturer that can supply pricing for both 90% and 95% fully sintered alumina oxide (aluminium oxide) coral seeding devices to design specifications supplied by AIMS.
200 000 Version 1 devices are required to be delivered to AIMS no later that the 01/10/2025
22 500 Version 2 devices are required to be delivered to AIMS no later than the 01/08/2025
Production samples are to be recieved, for approval, no later that the 09/05/2024

Conditions for Participation:
1. Previous Judicial Decision. It is a requirement of the Commonwealth Procourment Rules that the AIMS must not enter into a contract with an organisation, or where relevant, any of its Directors, that has had a judicial decision against them (not including decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements or engaged in practices that have been found to be dishonest , unethical or unsafe.
2. Workplace Gender Equity. The Australian Governement has adopted a policy of not purchasing goods or services from suppliers who do not comply with their obligations , if any, under the Workplace Gender Equity Act 2012 (Cth).A letter of compliance is to be provided with the response
3.Modern Slavery. It is a requirement, under Australian law that AIMS must take steps to identify and adddress modern slavery risks in its supply chain s and operations. Respondants will be required to demonstrate that they have assessed modern slavery risk in their own operations and supply chains to support AIMS' compliance witht the Modern Slavery Act. A letter of compliance in the Tender Response Form provided in Schedule C, Annexure 1, is to be completed with this response.

22 500 Version 2 Devices are required to be deliverd to AIMS (Townsville, Australia) no later than the 01/08/2025
Production samples are to be recieved at AIMS (Townsville Australia) for approval no later than the 09/05/2025
