East Grampians Health Service (EGHS), “the agency”, wishes to engage a contractor to provide internal audit services for the Finance, Risk, Audit and Capital Development Committee (FRACD).

Internal audit is considered a valuable component in assisting EGHS to achieve its objectives through promoting strong governance, a reliable system internal controls and understanding/mitigating risks.

The successful applicant is to provide internal audit services for an initial period of four (4) years. The service may include:

• Co-developing a rolling audit program which address the risks of the agency
• Conducting the audit program for the duration of the contract
• Identifying problems, control deficiencies or ways in which value can be added to the agency; and
• Liaising with and reporting to Management, plus attending and contributing to FRACD Committee meetings as scheduled.
• Undertaking reviews of both a financial and non-financial nature (including the engagement of additional specialists as required).
