Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking qualified and experienced businesses to undertake a range of Services at Euroa Saleyards to fulfil Contract 25-26-08 - Provision of Contract Services - Droving, Scanning, Weighing and Data Entry - Euroa Saleyards.

The new agreement is for a proposed term of 1 year, with a further 2 x 1-year terms at Councils discretion.

The Euroa Livestock Selling Centre is situated on the Euroa-Shepparton Rd. just at the edge of town. The facility has 175 selling pens (of which 140 are undercover) including holding pens, drafting pens, live weight scales, truck wash and canteen facilities, there is ample off-road parking and easy access to the 7 loading/unloading ramps. We currently hold 13 sales per year with an average throughput of approximately 20,500 head. Current Arrangements utilise contract services to Scan, Weigh and enter data relevant to all sale Cattle overnight post the 4pm Delivery curfew and prior to the Cattle Inspection which is completed at 8.30am on the day of the sale. Private weighing of cattle is also conducted on an as needs basis and by arrangement.

The Contractor is invited to Tender on all requirements and works as set out in the Specification document and associated attachments located under the Documents TAB for this project.

Tenders will be received until 4pm MONDAY 7 APRIL 2025.

Tenders can be only lodged online through the Tendersearch portal. Please note Strathbogie Shire Council no longer accepts hardcopy tenders and will not accept tenders by fax or email.

It is Strathbogie Shire Council's policy not to accept Tenders received after the specified closing time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSIONS:

Contract 25-26-08 - Provision of Contract Services - Droving, Scanning, Weighing and Data Entry - Euroa Saleyards is a Schedule of Rates Contract. Strathbogie Shire Council advises that failure to supply schedule of rates pricing in Schedule 1 will result in your tender not being evaluated.

All Tender Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated.

You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the RESPONSE tab.

Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted, and you will be unable to continue.

We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection.
