The Scope of Works involves the development of a Strategic Plan for Water Supply and Sewerage Services at Mid-Western Regional Council (MWRC) which is to function as the central source of information covering all aspects of Council’s Water Supply and Sewerage Services.

The Strategic Plan is to be developed utilising:

• a significant body of background information developed by Council over many years,
• work which is currently under development in response to a range of recent issues and challenges facing MWRC, plus
• delivery of the nine individual tasks outlined in this Scope of Works

The development of this Strategic Plan and the associated nine individual tasks is being funded under the SSWP Stream 2 which requires the works to be fully completed by 31st December 2025.

Council’s goal is to ensure that the Strategic Plan is comprehensive enough for Council to be able to demonstrate compliance with the 12 outcomes identified in section 3 of the DCCEEW Water Regulatory and Assurance Framework (RAF).

This Scope of Work-Head Document is to be read in conjunction with the nine separate Scopes of Works for the individual tasks.
