Job details
The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) requires the services of experienced ICT Project Managers familiar with large application and system development projects, to be imbedded in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) division to ensure a successful planning and execution of current and future projects.
Key duties and responsibilities
The responsibilities of the ICT Project Manager include, but not limited to:
- day-to-day operations of resourcing, scheduling, prioritisation and task coordination, and meeting project milestones, objectives and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- coordinate and lead cross-functional development teams for application and system build activities.
- monitor, track, and report on the status of project/program deliverables.
- ensure schedules, costs, and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans.
- track, monitor, and report against project financials.
- identify and resolve issues.
- provide a range of administrative and project/program support services to facilitate the delivery of outcomes with relevant stakeholders
- ensure alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
