Background

The AgriFutures Export Fodder Program is seeking a qualified service provider to undertake a 1-year, multi-trial site oat agronomy project. This project will evaluate the implications of oat variety and management strategies on oat hay production. Potentially, this 1-year trial will be the first stage of a multi-year oat agronomy investment.

We ask the service provider to consider a range of different oat varieties and potential management strategies including varying sowing dates, and other inputs. The innovative management strategy or strategies will test new or relatively untested practices that show potential to improve hay yield and/or hay quality.

The budget to undertake this work is between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00

Interested parties must complete a detailed application via the K2 project management system. Applications must include:

• A detailed budget
• A detailed methodology, including a GANNT chart of key project delivery milestones.
• A plain English summary of the proposed outcomes and impact to the Australian Export Fodder industry
• Detailed stakeholder engagement planning
• A background summary of the proposed team to deliver the outcomes
