Tender Description
The Whitsunday Regional Council (Principal) intends to install grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at the following two (2) sites:
a) Proserpine Swimming Pool, 55 Anzac Road, Proserpine Qld 4800.
b) Bowen Swimming Pool, 3 Dalrymple Street, Bowen Qld 4805.
A solar power feasibility study was conducted, from this a recommendation to install a 100kW solar power plant at the Proserpine Swimming Pool and 120kW at the Bowen Swimming Pool was received. Due to limited suitable roof space at each facility, additional solar panels must be mounted on solar-ready shade structures as shown in Section 3.3 - Preliminary Design.
This Contract is to design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission (including network connection approval to Ergon on the Principals’ behalf) solar power systems at both sites, including the solar-ready shade structures suitable for the Whitsunday Region.
A Tender Briefing will be carried out Tuesday 25th March 2025 at the following times:
Bowen Swimming Pool, 3 Dalrymple Street, Bowen Qld 4805 at 10.00 am (AEST); and
Proserpine Swimming Pool, 55 Anzac Road, Proserpine Qld 4800 at 12.30 pm (AEST).
