Tender Description
The Australian Government is inviting one organisation through a one off ad-hoc process to deliver 2 initiatives that address critical gaps in rehabilitation services and health sector capacity-building over an 18-month period.
Initiative 1: Funding will be provided to purchase essential equipment for the Al Rahma Rehabilitation hospital in Hebron to enable it to serve as a hub for holistic rehabilitation services, catering to the diverse needs of the community in and around Hebron.
Initiative 2: Funding will be provided to support improved professional competencies amongst health professionals from the Occupied Palestinian Territories to support strategic planning of health services. It will also seek to bring together former Health Ministers from the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel to improve cooperation between health institutions in the region.
The Day After Project contributes to the achievement of Program 2.5 - Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship under Outcome 2: Support a united and prosperous Australia through effective coordination and delivery of immigration and citizenship policy and programs underpinned by robust integrity and assurance.
