Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service requires a service provider to undertake decontamination, laundering and inspection of firefighting garments for a period of 45 months. The garments may have been exposed to Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), asbestos or other potential hazardous substances that are directly associated with firefighting operations.
