Council requires high pressure cleaning works to the CBD footpaths in Mudgee. The purpose of these works is to refresh and maintain the CBD concrete aesthetics.

Requirements:

Pressure cleaning unit is required to be 2800 pound-force per square inch (Psi) or greater. Works are to be undertaken utilising hot water ONLY. Any chemical the supplier would propose the use of must be approved by Council Environmental staff in advance.

In locations where there is access to Council water sources they are permitted to be used, however, it is the responsibility of the contractor to either provide their water or source from businesses in the area.

Must ensure shop and business windows are not marked, damaged or sprayed.

Works are to be completed outside the hours of 6am-9pm while there are minimal vehicles parked or pedestrian activity.

Commencement / Completion:

The proposed commencement is from Monday, 7 April 2025 and completion prior to Monday, 19 May 2025.

             Church Street (Mortimer St to Market St.) – western side from StarChem Chemist to Mortimer St

             Church Street (Mortimer St to Market St.) – eastern side from Commonwealth Bank ATM to Mortimer St

             Mortimer Street (Church St to Perry St) – northern side from intersection of Church St. to end of S&S Meats building.

             Mortimer Street (Church St to Perry St) – southern side from intersection of Church St. to just past Outside the Square Café.

             Church Street (Mortimer St to Gladstone St) – western side from intersection of Mortimer St. to end of Dancing Goat Café

             Mortimer Street (Church St to Lewis St) – southern side from intersection of Church St. to and including the Taxi Rank.

             Mortimer Street (Church St to Lewis St) – northern side from intersection of Church St. to the driveway to Kelly’s Irish Pub rear carpark.
