Tender Description
Provision of a Comprehensive Playground Audit on all Playgrounds throughout the Region.
Central Highlands Regional Council (Council) are seeking a Level 3 Comprehensive Playground Safety Inspector to conduct a Comprehensive Playground Inspection and provide a Report documenting their findings. This Report will identify hazards in accordance with the Australian Standards, Best Practice Guides and Workplace Health and Safety Requirements.
We acknowledge the critical role that Playgrounds play in the physical, mental and emotional development of our children. We also understand that there is a certain amount of risk in a Playground, providing it is low level and not likely to result in serious injury, is a way for children to develop and manage their skills in risk assessment. It is the unforeseeable hazards that are more significant and is why an assessment of our playgrounds are essential to protecting our users.
The Successful Contractor will be subject to Council’s Employee Code of Conduct. Breaches of the Code of Conduct can result in removal of personnel from Council’s Job Sites and/or termination of the Agreement. Please refer to Attachment A1.
Mandatory Requirements: Contractor must be a Level 3 Inspector. Contractor’s Key Personnel must complete Council’s Online Inductions (LinkSafe) prior to commencing the Works.
