The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of Maintenance of Trade Waste facility at Alexandra Canal Depot & Bay St Depot in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT).

This project is for provision of services of a competent and experienced contractor (preference for one contractor) to maintain the trade waste plants at its Alexandra Canal Depot (ACD), and Bay St Depot in a condition capable of achieving the water quality parameters set by Sydney Water Corporation licences.

It is critical to the City's operations that the trade waste facility, including the collection and treatment of wastewater, functions properly to treat the wastewater before discharge so that the terms of the trade waste licence with Sydney Water are complied with.

This request is for a regular inspection, maintenance and reporting (report on work undertaken during inspections/servicing) program to establish reliable and conforming performance of the plant and trade waste facilities located at ACD and Bay St Depot for a term of three (3) years with an optional (at the discretion of the City) extension of two (2) years, from 1 July 2025.

One site visit will be organised for all interested bidders to view the Trade Waste Facilities at Alexandra Canal Depot and Bay St Depot. It will be on Monday 31 March 2025 from 10am Address is: Alexandra Canal Depot, 67c Bourke Rd, Alexandria and Bay St Depot, 10-16 Bay St, Ultimo. Up to two (2) attendees per potential bidder will be permitted and registration of interest is to be made by email via the contact details specified in the key conditions, by Friday 28 March 2025.

All visitors are requested to wear enclosed shoes and have a high vis vest.

First visit will begin from ACD, followed by Bay St Depot. There is parking onsite at both ACD and Bay St Depots. Security will be notified in advance of your visit at ACD and Bay St Depot.

10.00 AM: Address- Alexandra Canal Depot, 67c Bourke Rd, Alexandria.

Enter through the private road at Bourke Rd and turn right. Press the buzzer at the carpark entrance and Security will open the boom gate for the car park. Go to the pedestrian gate and Security will provide access and come through to the Administration building entrance.

11.00 am: Address- Bay St Depot, 10-16 Bay St, Ultimo.

At Bay St Depot, press the intercom near the rapid shutter and go to the Security room in Bay 1 on the left. Security will guide you towards the car park.

The Project Manger will contact potential tenderers to alert them of the upcoming site visit.

Frequency of services required are fortnightly, quarterly, annual services for ACD and Bay St Depot Trade Waste Facilities.

Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFT.

Please submit pricing in the Pricing Only Tender Box, and non-pricing in the Non Pricing Only Tender Box. Please do not submit pricing and non-pricing together.
