Tender Description
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) has secured a lease on a new premises located in Tarneit and is looking to engage a builder for a Design and Construct (D&C) fit out of the internal first floor space. Approx. 840sqm
The RCH will be looking for a fully managed D&C project Office/Clinical Fit out (turn-key solution), including, but not limited to the following services:
- Architectural Design & Documentation, including schematic, interior, and detailed "For Construction" documentation, incorporating acoustic considerations.
- Engagement of Service contractors e.g. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, building surveyor, fire etc.
- Communications (Security, ICT & AV requirements)
- Project Management
- Commissioning, documentation package
The objective of the project is to transform the space into a child friendly community mental health facility. The space should be renovated in line with RCH’s specific requirements to achieve a modernised, engaging, and appealing environment to children and adolescents, making them feel more comfortable and willing to engage with mental health services.
The tender is expected to be released (Mid-April 2025) with a target completion of the works during Q4 2025 (October-December). A selective tender is proposed, for a fixed lump sum, Design and Construct (D&C) Office/Clinical fit out, delivered as a turn-key solution.
Building contractors will be selected from the CSR based on
- Current registration on the DTF CSR Pre-Qualified Contractors List
- Suppliers’ appropriate levels of experience, qualifications, and capacity
- Must have HealthCare experience
