This notification has been issued to inform the market that Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) will be releasing an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Murrumbidgee Psychosocial Grants 2025-26.

MPHN will make grants of up to $200,000.00 available to fund sustainable, evidence-informed, non-clinical psychosocial supports that aim to support people living with a severe mental illness to:

• strengthen their capacity to live independently and safely in their community,
• achieve personal recovery goals,
• form meaningful connections in a supportive environment, and
• reduce the need for acute care.

Programs or activities will take a person-centred, recovery-focused approach to help people manage daily activities, rebuild and maintain connections, build social skills and capacity to participate in education and employment.

Activity to be funded by the grant will need to begin no later than 2 June 2025 and be completed by 30 June 2026. There will be no further funding for the activity beyond this date.

Activity already funded through existing MPHN, or other government funding streams will not be eligible.

The timeline* for the procurement activity is set out below:

1. EOI Grant Guidance Document released on MPHN website – 14 April 2025
2. Information session, via online webinar – 21 April 2025
3. CLOSING DATE for EOI applications submitted via webform – 5 May 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
4. Evaluation of applications and contract negotiations begin – 8 May 2025
5. Activity startup 1 – 2 June 2025
