This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Agile Coach will support the adoption and implementation of business agility and promotes lean and agile ways of working to support the delivery of projects from concept through to strategy, implementation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Coaching, guiding in adopting and implementing agile principles to define an outcome-oriented roadmap to ensure customer centric design and development and delivery
- Working in a cross-functional team to manage end to end lifecycle, including validating features and design, facilitation of agile ceremonies to make customer journeys the best they can be
- Designing, leading and supporting communications and engagement activities to build organisational understanding of user-centred delivery approaches
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement to reflect on processes and identify areas for development
Essential criteria:
- Proven experience in various Agile approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, Scaling Methods, and others.
- Strong leadership and team management skills in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects.
- High-level facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
EL1 Project Manager is accountable under broad direction, to perform very complex work that provides the planning, leadership and management of projects and project teams within the Agency.
They will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role. They will be responsible for defining and managing the requirements, scope and the end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring compliance with the Agency’s project management framework, policies and procedures.
They must have high level stakeholder engagement skills and be able to understand, negotiate and resolve very complex, difficult, and/or sensitive issues that may arise within a project.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have demonstrated ability to apply strong project management expertise and knowledge to delivering digital projects and ensuring adherence to Agency frameworks.
- Be proficient in managing projects using various methodologies such as waterfall, agile and a hybrid of both.
- Be highly adept at managing project schedules, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies to project completion.
- Proven experience of strong stakeholder management, engagement and collaboration across suppliers, other government bodies and cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation.
- Be able to respond flexibly to changing demands and be comfortable leading one or more project team/s in times of uncertainty.
- Have extensive understanding of government policies, processes and compliance requirements and its impacts for project delivery.
Project Management qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications and/or 5+ years applying project management skills and knowledge on medium to large projects.
Certification in PRINCE2 / PRINCE2 Agile, PMP, any Agile and experience in public service are highly desirable.
