Tender Description
The Gunbalanya Safe House Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Service Grant is to provide specialist domestic, family and sexual violence services with the following outcome area:
- Outcome 3: People experiencing DFSV are protected and helped to recover and thrive.
This grant will fund the Gunbalanya Safe House Specialist Domestic and Family Violence service with the total funding pool being $2,412,309 over 3 years with an annualised amount of $804,103 (GST excl). The Gunbalanya Safe House is a 7-bed capacity,24/7 crisis accommodation service which is operational and providing counselling and wellbeing services, outreach, client advocacy and support services. The successful applicant will be required to work with the existing provider to transition into the service with a commencement date of 1 July 2025.
Applications must demonstrate how the organisation will meet the following principles of the DFSVR Framework:
- Women and children’s safety and wellbeing is at the centre
- Shared responsibility, partnerships and local responses
- Evidence and needs-based and outcomes-focused
- Accessibility, equity and responsiveness
